YOUR PRINTS: The look and feel of real artwork.

Having the look and feel of real artwork, our prints convey emotion in their richness of color and depth. They hint at ocean sounds and smells, the feel of sand in your feet and the joy you've had being together with family.

Your portraits are created in our studio, giving us complete artistic control from image to print. Pro labs, the default for most studios, use a color space (sRGB-jpeg) which limits richness of blacks and vibrant colors. Our prints are done with a higher bit rate and a wider color gamut, giving a greater sense of depth and color richness. We also use archival museum papers which bring higher quality and added value to you, our customer.

Basic air brushing, custom cropping, skin tone enhancement and glare removal are standard. Most other studios charge additional fees for these options as add-ons to their basic photo price. We do charge, however, for any extensive art work requests. If you have any specific concerns when ordering, please write them in the “special instructions” box at checkout or give us a call. Gordon is glad to help you with choosing images for an order and answering any questions you might have.

We research all photographic papers for longevity. After your portraits are printed, they are allowed to cure and are then treated with an archival, UV protective spray. Your prints, if properly cared for, will last 100-200 years. They should be framed behind glass with archival or rag matting. We offer several styles of attractive archival frames that will ensure the longevity or your investment.

Following your portrait session, photographer Gordon Kreplin calibrates images to their original color and hue before uploading to the internet. For example, you may have gentle warm colors in the early evening - these will be preserved as much as possible for your final prints. Kreplin’s extensive knowledge of color spacing and printing will bring you artistic portraits of the highest quality.

When ordering cards, please indicate your choice as listed by number and include a two line greeting (up to 24 characters) to personalize your card. Also indicate whether you want silver or gold foil lined envelopes.
